this game's similar to elder scrolls, so scratches that itch if you're waiting on tes6

- Fully voiced NPC dialogues, and there is a a LOT of that even to the point where I was exhausted with seemingly every single NPC having a story to tell.
- Large build variety with 6 skill categories, each with 3-4 trees to build from, and 6 stats - most of which are beneficial regardless of build and are used as speech checks for unique dialogue and quest options.
- Armor/weapons mostly have unique effects, and not only flat percentage boosts to damage or survivability, enabling more in-depth build brainstorming.
- Sneaking's in the game but I found that I only used it for sneaking up on enemies, as there weren't any sneaking missions that I can recall.
- Fun flowing combat with dodges and parries for melee and dual magic casting for mages.
- Atmospheric visuals and great soundtrack really sell the King Arthur / Kamelot / Druids vibe.
- Fast travel's available so no need to trek everywhere, and many items boost movement speed as well.
- First and second act of the games feel really fleshed out, with the third act being a sort of ultra-dangerous zone that has less content and is more about finishing the game. But to be honest, at that point I had gotten my build locked in and was ready to finish it anyway.

this game is good

+ movement & gunplay feel great
+ the ambience & situational music create a very intense atmosphere
+ level design is intuitive but lets you figure out puzzles yourself
+ the last 5th of the game takes you to OUTER SPACE with scenery straight from Metroid Prime
- some jank, but is to be expected

this game is good, although you'll likely face a wall unless you're ready to abuse game mechanics to power up

The game is really deep and has a few distinct phases, starting with (1) making money off copper or stealing, (2) exploring and recruiting your gang, then (3) establishing your base, crafting gear and scavenging old world tech while making money and finally (4) taking on bounties and affecting the world state by toppling nations. All of this was incredibly fun and I recommend it to anyone who likes RPG's and strategy games alike, since the gameplay loop blends a lot of distinct elements together successfully.

I never started phase 4 as my crew was really weak despite playing for 50 hours, as I wasn't ready to start abusing game mechanics to level up toughness & combat skills quickly which would've involved systematically fighting until I get knocked out and capturing a strong enemy, making a "fight ring" building with it and sending my people to fight it (but not kill it) to level up combat skills. I read up on these methods but it didn't seem particularly fun to me, and to complete the final phase of the game would've taken an immense amount of time to level up my people until I could confidently take on bounties & topple nations. The first half of the game more than made up for this shortcoming though.

this game is a single player MMO

+ main story was ok but the good ending felt forced and surreal
+ great ambience, music & graphics
+ popular names from ancient greek history are intertwined into story, which was nice
+ giant world map, almost too big..?

- the world felt empty, there's very few puzzles or interaction possibilities with the environment (no climbing puzzles, no "shoot X with a bow to create environmental effect to your advantage")
- too many side quests felt pointless and bloated
- combat is boring and repetitive, despite abilities adding some variety
- enemy versatility was horrible and mythical beasts were boring
- equipment system was a hell to manage and set bonuses were almost never used or gained
- ship navigation was boring and basically just a "waiting game", naval combat was a joke and felt very arcade-y
- all difficulty levels bad, not a single "high risk high reward" difficulty level just "how much health & dmg do you want enemies to have" which is basically how thick do you want the sponge to be

this game is ok, but could have been much better if they had removed the fun-restricting parts of it

+ great ambience, sounds & music - feels like mystical dark feudal japan
+ game feels crisp and responsive in combat
+ multiple playstyles available due to 1. weapon types 2. ninja techs / magic 3. yokai ability slots, but all of these are gated or unnecessarily behind some types of stat requirements / walls

- it's a farming game in disguise
- loot system is basically diablo 3 and there's an inventory limit
- armor/weapon progression system is unnecessarily complex (stat inheritance, stat transfers, levelups, + tiers, ...) and could have been much simpler
- difficult to use and experiment with other weapons since they scale with certain stats, massive issue
- difficult to use other armor sets since they require certain stats
- "guardian spirits" and their special effects are locked behind stats as well ......
- certain bosses are "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" with tight dodge timings and 1hitKO moves, some are dumbed down using certain debuffs that you just have to guess your way to (slowdown, poison etc)
- story was difficult to follow from the start

this game is good

+ fun platforming
+ old-school "adventure game" progress, new areas available as you get updates to gear etc.
+ amazing music
+ amazing environments
+ captures that star wars feel
+ much dialogue / content

- combat is a bit wonky, but it's fine - would have liked more intense duels
- bosses and enemies were a bit boring
- no choice to "go dark" in the game, would have been perfect for a two-ending game

this game is fun

+ combat learning curve is high, but it's a blast once all characters are mastered (really diverse gameplay across the board)
+ nice visuals
+ cookie cutter dmc story, but had a nice twist in it
+ great audio
+ great secrets
+ great bosses

- some combat encounters boring/dragged on
- levels were a tad boring & "more of the same" as the game progressed
- didn't understand the point of the "multiplayer element"
