Freaking loved every single second of it I've played it over 60 hours or so but the hours won't show up cuz I mostly played it offline,had a hell of a time with my brother playing all the chapters Just wish there was more To this blessing

One of the greatest game ever made.

A very good remake of the original HL with some caveats:
- cut content from several chapters
- long and tedious XEN part of the game:
it's beautiful, but very-very repetitive and boring gameplay. And it doesn't feel like a HL game.
IDK why everyone hates Interloper, whilst the Gonar's Lair episode is long, boring and is in totally unnecessary length.
Also, tell me, who the F* makes a chapter about boss fight after the boss fight?
My three thoughts during the whole XEN gameplay:
- cool insight into Vort's life and travel of Humankind to the Xen
- it's very-very beautiful
- when will it finally end? I'm bored. I can't take any more of these stupid simple puzzles. There are too many of them and they're totally the same. Please, stop!

IMHO, one more "On A Rail" map would be much better than half Xen's map.

Xen feels like when in movies dad caughts his son with a cigarette and makes him smoke the whole pack.

And when I got Xen out of my system, to the other parts of the game:
- I wish the game would be a little harder
- HECU fighting is very dynamic, with inspirational combat music and lots of tactic.
- Lots of little details, BM complex feels much more alive than HL1 (it was good there too, but in BMS it's much better)
