It's so good. Perfect Steam Deck game. Bullet hell isn't a genre I reach for much at all but this is more of a mixup, drawing on RPG progression and balancing difficulty enough to make things accessible for all players. If you have lightning reflexes you can breeze through this and have a good time, but even if you don't there is an upgrade system that ensures you can still win. Played the demo and was instantly hooked, bought the full version and it did not disappoint. Very hard to put down!

God it is SO hard but I keep coming back for more. I turned on the hint system but haven't used it out of pride, and also because just when I'm about to give up...my brain clicks and the solution presents itself. For me that's the draw to this game: You always know there's a solution if you look hard enough at patterns and think about lessons learned in previous puzzles. It doesn't make me feel super smart as much as satisfied when the tension of an unsolved puzzle is released. I was just okay with the music, probably because I spent too much time solving and had heard it a bit too often, so that's on me. Highly recommend playing but also recommend taking some breaks to reset your puzzle brain.

Nothing ventured, nothing earned...this is a low commitment and frequent death game where you don't carry over items and abilities, so the big sell is multiplayer mayhem and grinding through to higher levels on twitch reflexes and luck. Pickups are generally bad for you until redeemed for more power, so the "push your luck" aspect makes this a calculation between short-term drains and long-term gains. TBH I haven't even tried in multiplayer yet but know this would be even more of a hoot with a few friends.

Great tactics, good storytelling, perfect for Steam Deck. The customization options and dice crafting make this more than just a card collecting, deckbuilding experience. Grinding a bit (which I like anyway) makes the story levels less punishing.

Short but really smart. It's a puzzle game at heart with some platforming aspects, and although the characters and their surroundings are really cute, the challenges will occasionally twist your head around.

Oh man...I started playing this game without much fanfare, probably because it looked like a straightforward dungeon crawl, but in space. Now after a few playthroughs I am thoroughly addicted. It's a great combination of permadeath survival shooting with some light platforming and as you unlock more characters, strategy. The first of many playable characters is all about shooting, running and gunning, but later unlocks reveal weaker characters that require more strategy and planning. Item drops are the real stars of this game, with so many good ones that combine to turn you into something superhuman. Items stack and are plentiful, but difficulty scales up and enemies spawn more rapidly to keep the level of challenge really high. A game you think you'd play happily for 5-10 minutes becomes something you'll easily sink 30-60 minutes into, and wish you could survive longer.

Mesmerizing, puzzling, and artsy. More like a dream than a story, in the best possible way; just a really unique experience. Only finished Act I and I already can't wait to see how the others end up.

A truly great platformer, up there with the best on any platform, ever. Great pacing and plentiful power-up items that keep you feeling powerful without diluting the challenge.

Hilarious and so worth the impulse-buy price if you grab it on sale.
