First time in my life I fall sleep while playing a game (several game sessions). I struggled until chapter IV. Don't waste your time. The visuals and music are good, though.

I knew nothing about this game going into it and I'm quite glad about that. Its very hard to put into words why exactly this game is so great without spoiling just a bit of the magic of it. Its a game that plays with your expectations, not just of games but of stories in general, and ends up saying something truly poignant. There is one part I really want to highlight though and its an interlude that comes roughly halfway through the game called The Entertainment. This interlude really cemented KRZ in my mind and I think its one of the best narrative segments of any game I've ever played. A perfect cohesion of atmosphere, writing and "gameplay". The rest of KRZ doesn't always achieve this balance, but if you have any interest at all in Games As Art you can't miss this.
