very cool, very smooth and intuitive. well, after turning on hold feedback. hard to tell whether you have a good grip sometimes without it.
also definitely turn on manual limb selection. i don't know why they warn you about turning it on. it still defaults to automatic limb selection, it just lets you hold space and manually select a limb if the auto-selection fails you. should just be the default behavior imo

Absolutely fantastic game with a charming visual style and utterly unique gameplay. It's a whodunnit-type mystery where you're tasked with figuring out the identities and fates of all 60 men and women aboard the Obra Dinn using nothing but your brains and a pocket watch that allows you to view a snapshot of the moment someone died.
The game's roughly 10 hours long, with essentially zero padding. I spent around 4 hours on my initial playthrough and then another 7 to start over, go back through, and do it right (as my first playthrough I breezed right through, only bothering to solve the "easy" fates, leading to me being overwhelmed by the number of unsolved fates I had at the end. As a friend demonstrated though, you can absolutely work backwards from that point and solve it just fine).

Overlook nothing. Take your time, carefully walk around each scene before moving on. Taking notes can help keep observations and partial deductions sorted, but you can likely beat the game without doing so. I recommend not abusing the fate validation mechanic in order to brute-force guess people's identities, as it spoils some of the fun.
The puzzle of solving everyone's fate is difficult, but its logic in how you're supposed to figure everything out is pretty sound. No absurd point-and-click adventure-game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, everything makes sense. It's finding and piecing everything together that's hard.

God I wish I could wipe my memory so I could play this game again.
