Myself and several steam friends all used the random character unlocker (character crate according to the wiki) item from the in game shop that costs 100 Oranges, and none of us seemed to receive any items. Each of us purchased one of these purple squares, and the animation did not show a character being unlocked, and none of us had any more of the base game characters unlocked than we had previously. This occurred about a week ago, and we had all purchased them on the same night. plzzz help!!!!! I am sad ...

I just bought this game and am wondering if I should buy any DLC. If I don't buy DLC are major parts of the game going to be locked or are most of the DLC like skins and extra charaters.
