I updated it manually but just wanted to let you know.
And sorry for the confusing AI behavior. That does sound like a bug, and hopefully you've seen by now that we patched the character creation UI to include a partner preference choice (which you can change later via any mirror). AI *should* be honoring that choice in all cases.
If it is still misbehaving, please post a bug on either our forums or Discord, and we'll see about getting it fixed. Thanks!
I'm playing and loving the game, but something caught my attention. I clearly chose "him" as pronoun (so I assumed male and heterosexual), yet my character keeps having dreams about another man — at first I thought it was his father, but now I'm not so sure — and I just saw a log message stating he's attracted to everyone.
Let me be clear: I have no issue with the pronoun options, and I understand the game has mature themes, including this kind of content. But if I'm the one defining the character’s background, early life, and roleplaying his choices, isn’t it fair to expect the game not to contradict that?
I don't think this was intentional, but it does affect immersion. It feels like the game is making that choice for me, rather than responding to mine.
I’d like to suggest adding an "attraction preference" option during character creation, just like pronouns. That would help support different roleplay styles more clearly.
