If you like anime, character customization, God Eater vibes, vampire type of games with a pile of souls-like difficulty for seasoning, then this game is for you. This game has a lot of souls-like content to offer, It's pretty much what you'll be doing 60% of the time and 40% if you're spending needless hours re-customizing your character. Building your character in this game is a necessary lesson to learn, as you would want to be making sure you use the right gifts (skills) & passives, weapons, blood veils (equipment) and blood code (classes) to be efficient in combat. Don't worry about leveling so much (as a matter of fact: DO NOT LEVEL UP TOO HIGH), the lower level you are from start to finish, you have a much better progression with leveling up your gifts proficiency If you level up too much, the enemies will be considered too "easy" for you that your current gift proficiency gains would either hardly increase or most likely not increase at all. Just be sure to learn how to work with the combat mechanics and you will be able to do many reruns in this game without leveling up. Trust me, don't level up too much unless you are sure you have received all gifts with their proficiency maxed out. Other than that, this game offers a variety of unique and beautiful looking weapons and armor. You wouldn't be able to say they're re-skins or generic items (that is unless you get DLC item unlockables). DLC content related to The Depths offers you a variety of unlockables as well as a dungeon (depths) for you to explore. Once the DLC depths are fully explored, you may access the boss fight room and you have a monument of some kind to give you a list of challenges to unlock some certain skins for your partners, weapons, character customization unlockables and a few more I forgot. The game is really great, at least for me. I will keep playing until I unlock every single thing.

V Rising easily became one of my most cherished favorite games. The concept of growing your vampire empire through clans and base building grew my circle of friends even closer and we had a lot of fun playing together.

As we explored the lands, we encountered various creatures and enemies alike. The questline of killing V Bloods one by one with friends allowed us to have our moments of arguing about tactics and reaping the rewards for every kill. Though we struggled at times, we managed to pull through together and finish towards end game.

Castle development depends on how far you progress in the game through killing V Bloods and how well you plan your infrastructure. As your progress through the game furthers, so does your technological level and the variety of production buildings you can set up.

The amount of base building creativity you can do in interior and exterior decorations is absolutely amazing. Each base we made, laid a foundation of our progress and investment onto this game. For every gear we upgraded, we constructed a more organized factory in our bases with a final touch of home interior decoration.

The abilities in this game are very fun to experiment with. You have your weapon skills as you progress towards better weapon qualities, with each weapon unique to their own respective abilities and how effective they are towards their designated targets. You also can shapeshift to certain creatures or individuals based on certain V Bloods you kill. As you improve character progression through V Blood kills or Castle Heart Upgrades, you can obtain blood powers like dominating humans or mounts (horses) as well as being able to see how good are the blood qualities of your targets. The spellbook abilities come with a lot of experimentation of how you use them in combat. You can mix them with ranged spells like Shadow Bolt, defensive spells like Ward of the Damned, summon spells like Death Knight, and ultimate spells like Crimson Beam.

All in all, this is a very fun game to play with if you have friends. If they can't afford it, I suggest you buy extra copies of this game. It was definitely worth the price for my 5 bros.
