Geometry Dash, despite its simple gameplay mechanics, managed to become one of, if not the best game I’ve ever played in my entire life.

When I was a kid, I’ve always dealt with low self esteem issues. I’ve had my share of childhood traumas and also always felt like an absolute failure.

Sometimes in summer 2016 I’ve discovered Geometry Dash thanks to an iPhone 6s my dad had gifted me. I immediately became attached to it. At first I was only able to beat first 5 levels and gave up on can’t let go. But after that i somehow didn’t drop the game and finished the 6th level. At that moment I really felt like I was able to achieve something through hard work.

Then I decided to buy Geometry Dash on steam and clear the main levels, and then one of my friend challenged me to a medium demon called “the final lair”. I accepted the challenge and actually beat it after 4000 attempts. From that moment on I really felt like that GD has become a part of my life. Fast forward to today I’ve beaten numerous extreme demons, have almost 20k stars and even a rated level. I’m also on the home stretch of beating sonic wave.

Honestly I’d dare to say that GD might have saved my life, I’ve always believed that I’ll never achieve greatness no matter what I do, but there’s one thing that GD taught me is that you should never underestimate yourself and you can absolutely achieve anything if you believe in yourself!
