If you are thinking of buying this game, this will happen:
Step 1: die over and over, you suck
Step 2: die less, get a little bit of items
Step 3: become a pyro and get more kills
Step 4: realize pyro isn’t as fun and requires less skill
Step 5: get better and better
Step 6: congrats! You made it! You are a medium skilled player (you’ve started too late to ever be a top notch player)
These steps can take a really long or really short time, it depends on play style.

The community is amazing, and the game refuses to die despite no updates. Very few hackers and toxic people, and they usually get vote kicked.I 10/10 recommend watching the meet the team videos, they are funny and give you an idea of how the classes are supposed to play.

Also one last thing, although the game is free; voice chat, ranked/competitive, and MvM (a game mode) are locked behind a paywall, but it isn’t too bad because you can get free item drops every couple hours randomly.

As a free to play player (honestly I shouldn’t be writing this review without ever buying the game) I would give it a 9/10. Amazing gameplay, community, and it never gets boring, only problem is the very tiny paywall, but the game is free to play so… yeah.

Just quit looking at reviews and download the game.
