Good game so much memories and perfect to play with friends, but the game tends to make you rage very often.

Edit : It's been around 4 years now since I've made a review so I thought i'd rewrite something up to date.

The game is still enjoyable alone and with a team and we are finally getting some news from the dev team (sort of), the community isn't dead and a lot of different group are working together to make the game more playable (and we are going to receive a community update soon I hope so)

The bad point is that we still have the bot crisis (which never really stopped since 2007 tbh) but it got to a point where we can get a server full of bots kicking real players and this got out of hands.

Would I still recommand this game ? : Yes definitely yes. The game is not dead, the community works hard to make it still fun to play.
Beside the bots the game is still amazing and there's a lot to do and discover.

Edit 2 : From what i've seen so far, with the help of the new 'update' to counter bots it has been easier to play without them being around, at least in European servers.

It can still be problematic when a majority of bots joins a match and then start kicking every other players, so we end up having a server fill with bots.

But besides that I'm still having a great time playing, I don't regret anything when it comes to this game and what i've bought ingame the last decade.
I will still play this game, even if I'm the last one playing, can't stop ykwim

Edit 2024 : This is my small contribution to the #SaveTF2 #FixTF2 movement. Fix the game. I've played ever since I was 9, this game is my childhood, I have met wonderful people, spent many hours and a lot of money on this.

Edit 2024 : Valve did good with handling the bot crisis situation. As of now there are no bots in casual mods and the gamemode is enjoyable once more. Though it doesn't mean that cheaters are gone, as there are still many in game unfortunately.
