This is a fun take on your normal TD game. The wires allow for interesting daisy chaining of mods to "towers," and there are was to play without the wires at all.

It looks like it'd be very hard to play but I assure you it isn't. Now, mastering it? That's another story.

Try the demo if you're on the fence.

I am an old gamer. I remember Geometry Wars as an add on for Project Gotham Racing. This is a spiritual successor to that.

This is a great game to play when you have time to just chill. Sure, the enemies are fast and furious, and sure there are a billion ways to have your guns set up, but it isn't overwhelming.

No, it's just whelming enough.

The Dev is active. It is a sequel to the first GG. There is a story to this game but if you don't want that it isn't omnipresent You will like this game. At full price. It will be one of the games you actually play in your library. Play the demo. Get hooked.

I tried the demo.

It wasn't soon after until I purchased this game.

Do you like RTS games? Tower defense style? Are you an old codger like me and remember Dune III on MSDOS? Then you will like this game a LOT. If you're a young one who didn't know the ways of dir /p, this is an old school level of difficulty, and a lovely game throughout. Runs on my potato wiith toned down graphics, but high speed on my desktop. Very fun, highly recommended

I have played this game solo and multi-player and can tell you that with 330 + hours on record... I have never actually launched off the planet. Why? It's too much fun! Good for low end pcs and great mp functions. The mod community is hugely strong. Yes, a thousand times yes.

While I love most city builders, this gives added dimension through geometry and increased supply/demand tech trees. If you like old school simcity (the real one) then this may be for you.

I enjoy Team Fortress 2. If you platy an engineer in that game, this will have a very similar dynamic. That said, I love the necessity of teamwork here, the absolute great gameplay and addictive nature of the game. I am not a huge fan of steampunk games, but this easily wins on game play.

Not very fun, but then I don't like platformers.

Even if I did, this would probably not be up to my standards for even a flash game. The graphics are sub par, even in a 16 bit format, the gameplay is basic, and there is no real plot to it. Think Super Mario Brothers, but without the sexual tension.
