I have access to my computer, and I've installed Heretic + Hexen! Give me a shout if you're online so we can play Heretic together!

Since we both have Heretic + Hexen, and since Heretic is such an awesome game, I'd really like to play that game with you online in co-op mode and maybe deathmatch mode. Expect to see me playing that game at the end of August or early September!

After beating the Descent (1) - and rescuing all of the miners in each level - I'm not sure I'll ever replay the game in the future. The early levels are part of my memories from playing games with my friend on his adult brother's computer while we were still children. Those early levels are fun. I'm glad we never got very far into Descent, because as soon as the hit-scanning enemies pop up around level 6, you pretty much need to abuse the save system to make any progress in the game. I haven't even played Descent 2 or 3, so I think I'd rather move onto them than replay Descent (1).

I didn't look too much into the (new) SH2 remake for the reason I already went over, and because the change mentioned in my last post is a huge turn off for me. I also heard about there being a lack of fog - something that was a big part of the original game.

Since you already spent money on the remake, I'm glad you're enjoying it. As for me, I'd rather go back and replay the original than try out the latest remake - even if I had the latest and greatest hardware to run the latest remake.

I finally beat Descent (1), so now I plan to revisit good ol' 2.5D Doom.
