The Silksong is Real!

Silksong isn’t just my Game of the Year - it’s my Game of the Century.
Little that released the past 10 years comes even close.

It’s everything I ever hoped Silksong would be and somehow it’s even more!
I’m not even finished yet, and it already feels like one of the best games I’ve ever played. A huge part of that is going in almost completely blind (just trailer footage). In the first game I spoiled too much for myself - I knew where to go, what to do, and which bosses were waiting. This time, I discover almost everything myself and uncover the story bit by bit.
Going in almost completely spoiler free is really rare for games nowadays, especially hyped ones like this one was.

The world is massive, detailed, and filled with beautiful scenery - I'm also just a big Enthusiast for the games Artsyle.
The music, the atmosphere, the combat - it all just is pretty much perfect in my eyes.

Mild Spoilers Ahead! Be Aware!
Hornet herself is such a great protagonist, completely different from the Knight.
Her fast moveset makes both combat and platforming incredibly fun, and she’s a joy to control.
Also the tools have grown on me a lot. Some of my favorites are the Pimpillo, the Silkshot III, Cogwork Wheel and Cogfly.

The NPCs are also fantastic. Some of my favorites so far are Shakra, Sherma, Garmond and Zaza, the Flea Caravan, Green Prince, and Styx. I also love that there are more little interactions on the journey, kind of like how Quirrel popped up in the first game. Stuff like that makes the world feel so alive.

As for the last major Part - the bosses.
They have been mostly amazing (looking at you, savage Beat Fly).
The Cogwork Dancers completely blew me away and I kinda felt bad after beating them.
Karmelita is probably my favorite fight yet and I'm sure there are a couple of great ones still waiting.

So for now and in my humble opinion - and I doubt this will change - Silksong is a masterpiece!
I can’t wait to see what DLC Team Cherry might bring and what they’ll create next!

Edit: I've finished the game now and it was just amazing!
Karmelita, Tormented Trobbio and the Cogwork Dancers are my favorite bosses in the game.
Honorable mentions are Lost Lace and normal Trobio.
The only Problem now is that I only have hard achievemnts left and am just sad, because I 100%ed the game and have to wait probably a while for DLC and then really long for the next game...

Thank you Team Cherry! This was (and is) insane!

The Witcher 3 is one of my absolute favorite Games ever.
Even now, over 10 years after release, only few games comes close to what This masterpice achieved.

It’s everything one can hope for in a story-driven RPG.
I’m writing this review years after finishing it and I still vividly remember so many of my 250+ hours with the game.

The world is massive, detailed, and Beautiful - From the bleak swamps of Velen to the colorful vineyards of Toussaint.
The atmosphere is hardly matched, the music iconic, and the characters unforgettable.

And then there’s the DLC. Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine aren’t just great expansions - they’re some of the best DLC ever made.

So clearly, The Witcher 3 is a masterpiece you have to experience.
It’s one of those rare games that I know I’ll carry with me forever.

Thank you, CD Projekt Red - this wasn’t just a game, it was a beautiful journey, and one I’ll never forget.
With that said... I can't wait to get my Hands on The Witcher 4!
