Resident Evil 4 was the first game i ever played in my life on my fathers PS2. This game is the Godfather of survival horror games and was the main help toward a better narrative and action based style of shooters with over the shoulder view. This game will always be my 1# game of all time.

Resident Evil 4 (2005) Is my favorite game of all time and to see what Capcom has done with it makes me so happy. They modernized it tastefully and gave it new elements that make the experience so much more enjoyable. The original will never be beaten but sure does come super close. Some content was cut but for everything they cut they added even more in its place. This game is pretty dang long which was a relief but i knew they took the criticism's of Resident evil 3 remake because that game was just too short. Exploration and combat is just perfect in this game and the changes they made to combat make this game way more tense than the original. Leon's animations are super fleshed out and he's always doing something like after a battle he will hold his hip in pain and other really cool details. This game is the universal Resident Evil experience and anyone who has or haven't played either this or the original i highly suggest playing both, it does not matter the order they are both perfect in their own ways. Thank you Capcom for remaking my favorite game of all time and doing it justice, and im super excited for more Resident evil in the future regardless if its a remake or not!
