Personally, I think it's the best of the whole series, but each part has its own thing, so I can’t say the other parts are bad—no, no. But this game is something special for me. I don’t know why, but the music, game mechanics, story—I really like it.

You really learn the jungle. In the beginning, you can die from falling, but later on, you master the jungle and slide down hills without taking damage.

Where my story started: the first time I played this game was on PS3. I did 100% five times, then later once on PS4, and now—just to show off—100% here on Steam. Even after a long time not touching this game, it's still in my heart.

Hmm... about the ending—I would like a third option where you stay. But there are only two: die from the crazy woman, or go with your friends. But no worries—you can still stay and finish all the unfinished collectibles, etc.

About bugs—hmm, out of all the time I played, I only had two. I just fell through the map, that’s all.

About achievements: it’s sad there are no multiplayer achievements now. Back in the day, I got them just by connecting a second controller in co-op, because other players were bad and we kept losing. So to achieve the achievements, I just did them by myself :)

I think that’s all I have to say.

The sound in this game is amazing, it feels like you’re actually on screen. When you’re locked in a building and a cannibal wants to say hi but can’t… he screams: Hiiiiii-ghaaah! Aaaaargh! Ghhhh! Absolutely terrifying… and hilarious.

You can easily find blueberries in your underwear… but seriously, if that happens in real life, maybe see a doctor. I swear the developers knew we’re all a little chaotic, because the game restocks bars and sodas like tiny sweet treats for “little girls.” They even kept that mechanic in the new version.

Combat is nice and pretty scary at first; it takes some time to master. I had to make nonsense jokes just to survive the stress. After a while, I started building a home on the island so the cannibals couldn’t break my wooden family.

Story-wise… wow. Just wanted to punch my screen when I saw what they did to Timmy, MY BOY ;(

Graphics are fantastic. My PC isn’t amazing, but even sacrificing some quality, the game runs smoothly.

Overall: sound, graphics, story, everything makes this a must have in your library. And yes, the second version is great too.
