There will never be another Disco Elysium. There will never be another Planescape: Torment. But that does not mean we have to like that reality.

Esoteric Ebb follows the legacy of those games. I was sad to complete it, all I wanted was to keep exploring this world and lingering in it. Much like how I felt playing Disco. And the game is practically begging for a sequel or expansion. There are so many strings to follow (no pun intended). While a bit more light hearted than the previous games I've mentioned, it still manages to deliver those emotional moments of political and self discovery. Where we're uncertain of ourselves, our collective future, what we want to dedicate our lives to in a near meaningless world.
