Farewell to Retro, you faithful server.

Farewell to thee, Retro. Thy hast been a loyal computer over the ages. Even though practically every part of you has been replaced, you hosted the original torncraft. You host the TF2 Server, as well as the Terraria server. Your time has been sweet but great. Farewell, Retro.

Retro is my desktop computer. It currently runs:

CPU (2nd): AMD Phenom II x2 550
MOBO (1st): Asus M4N68T-M V2
HDD (3rd): Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal HDD
RAM (2nd): Kingston ValueRAM 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3-1066 Memory
GPU (2nd):ECS GeForce GTS 450 1GB Video Card
PSU (2nd): OCZ OCZ-ZT650W 650w Power Supply
Case (2nd): Corsair Vengeance C70 (Black)
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OEM (bought the OEM version)

As you can see, the only part of the computer that has NOT been replaced is the motherboard.

As for retro's deeds:

Ran Torncraft for months
Ran TF2 Servers often
Ran Terraria Servers on Occasion
Ran LQ2 Servers, back during expirimentation
I used it for years.

I still plan to keep the keyboard. Its 15 years old, so I don't see a reason to replace it. :P

Retro originally had a AMD Sempron I believe. It was upgraded later. The current hard drive is the third one it has had, the first two died. The Video card was replaced at christmas 2012, when the previous 8600 GT mysteriously lost a capacitor.

The case was replaced last week, because I ordered it first.

Retro's old case is in use by Zippy.

Anyway, Retro is old, and its time is up. My Intel 4670k, and Asus z87-a are arriving in a few hours.

Now, I just need to know whether to name the new computer "Falchion" (pronounced Fal shyun) or "Tryfing" (pronounced tear fing).

Falchion is a One-edged European sword, but a sword by the same name is used in the game Fire Emblem.

Tyrfing is a magical sword from Norse Mythology that is blessed to never miss , but cursed to kill someone when you draw it.
