To make this a bit longer and less dull I figure I will give ya'll a few reccomendations on games that I have found to be pretty interesting.

L.A. Noire
Where to begin... well it's a Rockstar game. Rockstar is known for their work on the Grand Theft Auto series of games so you can expect the game to be similar in the open world approach. The play style is also pretty similar with the ability to drive around the city whereever you want, get in and out of random vehicles and such on. But that is where the similarities end.

Now you have to remember that I was never one to get into the Grand Theft Auto games, for some reason I just could not get into the storyline, I know it was good, but something just kept pulling me out of the immersion of the game. L.A. Noire however is a pretty different game. It's a detective game that requires you to solve crimes by finding clues and interrogating witnesses/suspects.

This may seem like a kinda boring game, but it is really quite something. Rockstar did an amazing job with the graphics of the game and the voice acting is superb. You can tell when someone is lying by their facial expressions and their tone of voice, and if you cannot, there is generally something that you found on one of the scenes that proves what the witness said is a lie in which case you can call them out on it.

The cases are different and interesting. It is one of those games that you go, "I'll beat this mission then get off for a while," but when you finish that mission (or Case in this game) it throws you into the next one right away and you find yourself wanting to figure out what happened and solve the crime. Very addicting method to keep you playing. Also very effective, annoyingly so.
I do have a few problems with this game however, one of which being related to game controllers. I have my flight stick and Xbox controller constantly plugged in so the game likes to recognize those even though I am using my mouse and keyboard to play. I cannot tell you how many times I have started a case and stood there and spun until I found the wheel that wasn't centered on my flight stick.

Another major issue I have with the game might be related to the controller issues. Your character is the laziest ass I've ever seen! I mean he is worse than me! Everytime you walk past a bench or chair he has to sit the hell down. It's sooooooo annoying. And when you stand up, he sits his ass back down again! He does the same damn thing with cars too. Walk next to one... in the general direction of one... or even look at one funny and he will run over and get in it. RAGE RAGE RAGE.

Overall I love the game and would suggest it to anyone. Warning though, it will suck up alot of time and you might get a new definition of lazy while you are playing it.

Kerbal Space Program
Ahhh, good old KSP. You know what I love about this game? The general disregard for the life of Kerbals. I mean, you strap them into this GIGANTIC rocket and say, toodles, and fire them (Hopefully) into space.

Kerbal Space Program is a space simulator that is based around you building a rocket and trying to get it into space. The physics in the game are pretty outstanding and it can teach you a thing or 2 about gravity, and how much of a ♥♥♥♥♥ it is. They have 7 (I think, they keep updating the game) planets and each planet has at least one moon. It keeps it interesting for when you get bored of circling Kerbin (Their version of Earth).

All I can really say about this game is that you need to go download the trial of it and try it. There is a bit of a learning curve to figuring out what makes a rocket not go bang on the launchpad, but it is very satisfying when you make orbit, with a space station, that weighs more than 200 tonnes, and you didn't use the debugging console for infinite fuel.

Here[kerbalspaceprogram.com] is a link to their awesome free Alpha of the game. I hope you like it and support them.

Laters,
Shade
