No! Not impossible. You can mount Portal 2 to GMod! This is the amazing and offical result of GMod 13.0.0.0 and 14.0.0.0.

## DOWN SIDES ##

1. Models not shown in dupe pictures
2. Portal 2 maps are encrypted
3. Some Portal 2 Sounds (For wiremod use) are encrypted
4. Decrypted portal maps have a ♥♥♥♥ ton of missing textures

## GOOD SIDES ##

1. You can spawn in Portal 2 models, And some models from Portal 1 (Since Portal 2 includes some of them)
2. You have a new Portal Gun model (The gun dosent work though)

## HOW DO I MOUNT IT?! TELL ME IF THIS ISNT A LIE! ##

Step 1 - Launch GMod

Well, You wouldn't think you would have to start gmod to mount something similar to an addon which requires the game to be off, Would you?

Well, Garry's Mod has a mounting menu located on the main menu!

Step 2 - Mounting Menu

First, Look at the Main Menu, And see if you can find a little picture of a game controller at the bottom of the screen. Click that, Scroll to the bottom and tick Portal 2. (This requires you have it downloaded, Bought and installed.)

Step 3 - Restarting GMod

Press the quit button on the main menu :D

Step 4 - Launch GMod again

Launch gmod, Check Portal 2 is mounted, Play singleplayer!

Step 5 - Spawning in models

Press Q and look at the left and look for where it says "Games".
Then you get a list of the games you have mounted to gmod.
Click on the game named "portal2"

Step 6 - Noting the warnings

Do not spawn any Portal 2 models with a subfolder with the name a4_destruction or anything beggining with container_. This will crash your game.

Step 7 - Try doing it advanced...

If you have Wiremod, Or any addon which lets you play music on your client, Try playing music in the "music" folder, And scroll down a bit, And you can find LOTS of Portal 2 songs. One Portal 2 "song" is acctually what Doug Rattmann says in the last easter egg area behind a wall!

Step 8 - And your ready to go!
