Saw the Isekai Quartet event and figured I'd give the game a shot. After being blasted with all kinds of lore and class info that I had 0 way to contextualize, I decided to spam through the usual drawn out MMO intro to get into the game.

Upon doing this, the game closed itself and accused me of hacking, stating no external programs can be running at the same time as the game.

According to someone familiar with the game, either one of my totally harmless programs (Discord, Wallpaper Engine, etc) freaked out the anti-cheat for no reason, or I clicked too fast and it assumed I was using a hotkey program.

Either way, this situation is ridiculous. Uninstalled and never looking back. If you're casually interested in the game, don't bother.

Yep, it's a real shame their anti-cheat is so touchy. Seems like it's ruined the game for lots of people.

Yep just came back with new char. Was trying to do 4 low lvl theme dngns before they sped me through to lvl 59 by letting my char die a bunch of times. Got banned for hacking or something. I don't bot or hack or whatever. First that removes all the joy from playing, second I am a lazy ass, third who (even if they have nothing against cheating and making their game boring) bots or hacks old games anyway? I usually come back for nostalgia to older games. Also what kind of bot or hacker would go and suicide their char as they are doing quests? This makes no sense. From looking on forums this overbanning happens after every update and ppl agree that nothing can be done and you should just feel happy if it wasn't a permanent.This game apparently got worse. Which is a shame. I was kinda enjoying the new char's story. Reminds of wuxia novels. Actually most of the stories of the chars amuse me, it's the only other reason to come back anymore besides nostalgia.
