the only thing i dislike is how restricted saving is. there is an easy mode that lets you save whenever you want, but i think that should be the default.

if you play with "normal" settings, you can only save once per day, and the game takes course over the length of 15 days. that means you'll only save 15 times in the entire playthrough. this makes it really suck if your party wipes right at the end of the day (or if you make a decision that you regret) as you'll need to redo tons of content. the worst part of this is not even remembering what you did that day vs. the previous one, so you can easily fall into thinking "i don't need to go back there, I already did X" when that was not the case

This game is actually pretty cool. I'm really hyped for multiplayer

Deadbolt is absolutely amazing.

It's a perfect blend of skill and strategy, the mechanics are intuitive and work beautifully - beating a level always feels satisfying. The levels are all very unique and well-designed, there's a good variety of enemies and you never get bored. The soundtrack is amazing too. Deadbolt is pretty much perfect, it is well worth the $10. Right now I'm about 2/3 of the way through the game with 5 hours (although I suspect the last levels will be more difficult) so it's probably a good 8 hour playthrough, depending on how good you are and how fast you pick up the new mechanics.

Honestly the only thing I could ask of this game is more of it. If the developers added an expansion or a sequel I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Really excited to finish out the game. Good job Hopoo!

Literally like the best singleplayer game ever. Buy this. Just buy it.

16 years later and still one of the best games I've ever played. Excellent for anyone that enjoys strategy. The scenario editor also allows for incredibly interesting player made maps. Game seems to crash occasionally at the start of matches, however it almost never has issues during a match unless it's client-side lag. Great price too when it's on sale. 9/10 would recommend
