Nostalgia, I consider it the best in the series. I come back now and again to completely destroy 7 Rat AI for the fun of it. Has both a "campaign" as "historical" skirmishes.

10/10, after all these years I still love it.

I do recommend this game to other players.

Gameplay is smooth, story is present but not overwhelming/enforcing, good graphics, conversations are limited but not annoying, building system is straight-forward.

I did have some trouble gathering the correct tech/skill points, to continue developing my little settlement, but nothing a quick farming run didn't fix.

Extremely enjoyable, good UI. Controls are very comfortable to use. I would recommend.

Don't forget to manage your humans or <insert race>, both equipment and job-perms.

Best tip: Turn of the narrator. Seriously. I get how it is supposed to be funny, but the clonky camera and UI design just make him talk constantly and then it just becomes annoying.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥. Instant crash. Unresponsive pc, kept capturing my mouse so I couldn't force close it or anything. IDK whats wrong now, used to work.

I've played Patrician III before and was intrigued when I saw IV. Initially I was saddened that the graphics lost some of it's charms ( I notice this in a lot of games when they transition from 2.5d to legit 3d :( ) but I was captivated by the gameplay, yet again.

Truthfully, I find it a wee bit more easy, ladiback than the previous installment, which, imho, is not bad at all.

Suddenly I saw the morning light creeping through the shades, so I would def. recommend, albeit for people who like casual games (You can play this at a very slow tempo if you want, it's wonderful).

However, It'd be mean if I didn't mention I wasn't sober while playing this. Don't know if that actually added fun/changed my opinion ;D

I simply love this game, every game is different and enjoyable, you can customize enough to make it pretty darn challenging or a sandbox laidback session. I def. recommend this. Seriously. Buy this game. Play it.
