This game is one of, if not my favorite game of all time, and seeing it get left in the mud by Valve is disheartening.
The classes' simplicity mix extraordinarily well with the multiple weapons and playstyles to choose from.
The movement has a weighty feel to it, however running away and dodging never feels too hard or slow.
The cosmetics are a very fun addition to the game, and compliment its carefree and cartoony atmosphere extremely well. Valve has managed to create a very interesting and unique trading market revolving around hats. Yes, hats.
Most classes have hitscan burst fire weapons, or at least some sort of similar alternative, making every shot feel satisfying and fun.
The soundtrack, art and general atmosphere are fantastic, carefree and timeless.
The game has a LOT of depth, and the more you dive into it the more you realize how much you can learn. The best part is that it is fun all the way. The game has quality, and it shows this by staying in the top 10 most played even after years without major updates.
