it was probably sometime that i was driving through night city that i realised why this game makes me so sad. cyberpunk 2077 seems to perfectly capture that feeling of loneliness and emptiness that so many people feel in modern life. you are dealing with a world that in reality isn't too dissimilar from our own, perhaps one that is the result of accelerationism with no end in sight. i felt pretty lonely outside of this game and this game made those feelings worse but in that i think that you find what is so special about the game. underneath all the despair and hopelessness, and the fact that you can't really escape your fate, exists the true message of hope and carrying on living to the best of your ability.

i really do recommend cyberpunk, even if its not the typical kind of game that you would play (which it wasn't/isn't for me). the storyline is very good, so too are the environments and characters that exist within them.

ignoring the fact that yes, you need to install the unofficial patch to play this game, vampire: the masquerade is probably always going to be one of my favourite games. this game has so much heart behind it and is dripping (in blood harharhar) in style supported by that very specific gothic triphop industrial one million genre kind of soundtrack. this game is such a good introduction to the vampire: the masquerade universe and i really recommend it if anyone wants to get into the wider tabletop game.

i truly believe that the rpg elements in this game are a lot deeper and more interesting than a lot of heartless rpg slop that is being pumped out these days. i just really really love this game and want everyone to play it.

the first half of this game truly is amazing, i think that it perfects the resident evil formula. i do feel like the second half kind of abandons a lot of what made the first half good and for that i do think that it leaves the game lacking a little bit.

its a bit ridiculous that leon and sherry don't even mention claire once, and i truly do believe that an expanded bad ending would make the game more satisfying.

maybe its because i played as a sorcerer, and maybe thats the worst way to play i don't really know but i really don't enjoy this game. i really really want to enjoy it, i enjoy the whole "soulsborne games are like a life lesson, keep going even when the road is hard and you will eventually reach the end" philosophy but jesus this game just beats you down again and again. i remember getting about half way through bloodborne and absolutely loving it, truly one of the best games that i've ever played and i never even got the time to finish it, which is why i decided to pick up dark souls one but oh my god...

so many areas in this game are designed just to mess with you and make you not want to play, i'm in the catacombs now and its just a joke, i've never played a game before where it goes this hard to make you not want to play. maybe the other soulsborne games are good, i can only hope so because bloodborne truly was peak gameplay to me.

i didn't really like the original but this perfectly expanded and remade every part of the original!
i finished the game and went yayayayaya!!!!!!!!!!!! i love this game

i mean this game is amazing, it expands on so many things that i love about aslyum and also introduces catwoman as a character which is always going to be a plus for me! the plot was good, the combat was good and the environment was good too.
i hated the riddles this time round though, i enjoyed solving them the first game but this time it just felt like a chore.

i mean wow- this is the gamiest game to ever exist yknow! the combat, gameplay and storyline is perfect and completely reawakened a childhood hyperfixation on batman.... i couldn't stop playing once i started and i'm hoping to collect all the riddles and such when i get the chance. 10/10 game and i 100% reccomend!

i LOATHE and LOVE this game, every 10 mins i found myself saying 'what the ♥♥♥♥' at its stupidity.
