You tell me: would you like your giant, over-the-top chaingun that is larger than most peoples' entire robots do insane damage? Yes? Well too bad, because the way the weapons work in this game is downright flawed. Every weapon does very similar damage, and the only way to win is to slap as many small, weak guns onto your robot as possible and drive straight into every fight with no strategy. After my time playing, I can finally write about how awful the meta is right now.

You can take a tank robot and put 30 Wasp lazers on it and win everything, or you can build a helicopter and snipe people from above the entire game and never come down from the top of the skybox. Take your pick. If you do not conform to the meta, you will lose every fight you go into, and you'll lose every match.

Speaking of the matches, the "matchmaking" no longer exists. It just throws a bunch of players in a server, regardless of level or skill, and hopes it works out. When you've played for more than a few hours, you've seen it all. There is no variation in gameplay, as all but a few of the weapons do essentially the same thing. All weapons except the Railgun have an eerily similar DPS, and after some experimenting I can confirm that you can get the same damage output from the huge legendary shredder chaingun and 4 wasp lazers. It's sad how awful the "legendary" weapons are.

The last part that really pisses me off is how a game designed for creating robots punsihes creativity. If you create a robot that does not conform to the 'quantity over quality' meta that the best robots have, you'll never win a fight. The game reduces you to using two options: build a dumb robot with 30 tiny guns and just win every single fight, or build a cool, unique robot and avoid all confrontation. Which would you pick?

A lot of people have been complaining about the pay2win aspect, but it's not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. Since all the big fancy guns are basically useless, there's absolutely no point in buying premium or getting crates. The biggest culprit here is the awful, lackluster gunplay and the turd of matchmaking system the game has.

My final score is 3 easter eggs out of 10.

For such a cheap game, Cosmic DJ really delivers. Even the tutorial had me bopping my head to the beat I created! All you have to do is put different sound effects in at a choice of 4 separate notes. Although 4 isn't much in retrospect, it didn't seem like I had fewer options, rather it seemed like the whole thing was simpler. There's also the added bonus of re-playing the same level many times and making completely different beats each time through. There are several songs you must apply beats to, and at the end of every level it combines all the songs into one *cosmic jam* for you to listen to! The story is light and doesn't get too deep into anything, and always manages to have a little humor sprinkled here and there. This game is perfect for those wanting to have fun with music, and get really creative/funky with it at the same time.

A simple game that puts your reflexes to the ultimate test. Flying through the first few holes is easy enough, but once you reach speeds of 1300+, you'll wish you didn't have to blink! The re-try system is pretty forgiving, as 5 coins is easy to get at any speed. Just don't waste 50 per try. The music isn't anything to mess around with either!

This game has set itself apart from other games, and with good reason. This is one of the most finely crafted parkour-related games I've ever played. With stunning and immersive visuals, great music, and solid gameplay, this game really hits the ball out of the park. I can appreciate the fact that the focus very little on the gun-play aspect, focusing instead on everything else about the game. In the entire time I've played it, I've never encountered any glitches/bugs, with some very good AI to match. It could afford to have some more levels, although the time trials will keep you busy for days on end.

When they mentioned "Dreamlike visuals", and "Immersive music", they weren't kidding. When I got this game, I didn't realize how much of a unique game this was. Sparkle 2 Evo totally blew all the other evolution-tree type games out of the water. If you are a casual gamer, or you simply enjoy music, you will love this game straight from the tutorial. My only wish is for the game to be longer, as I finished the game and got every acheivement in about 10 hours of gameplay. My advice: take it slowly and enjoy the view! It doesn't hurt to have a good pair of headphones on hand for the great music!

If you are one for RP'ing, this is the game for you. With a huge overworld, 6 different factions to join or destroy, and all sorts of quests and sidequests, this will you keep you busy for quite a while. The gameplay and immersion totally makes up for the lack of graphics quality. The multiplayer is quite interesting, although there is no co-op campaign. There are plenty of mods out there as well, which adds to even more content, sometimes even completly changing the game for the better! My only complaint is when capturing castle after castle later in the game can become a bit dull. Overall, I give it a 7/10.

The 9 different classes are all almost perfectly balanced, the gameplay is smooth and fast-paced, and most servers are fun to play on. The wide variety of weapons and cosmetic items for each class is impressive, and always fun to collect and mess around with different loadouts. Every game mode presents a new type of gameplay and strategy to work with, and the massive amount of community maps/mods provides TONS of new gameplay options. Very few bugs and glitches, and the game is regularly updated. Jut because this game is free doesn't mean it would be any worse than if you had to pay for it. BOOBS
