Pure platformer joy, full of character. Loads of fun, perfect difficulty curve, awesome music, not too long and not too short.

Legend of Grimrock is a classic dungeon-diving game. You play as four criminals who have been chained together and tossed into the seemingly endless labyrinth of Grimrock. Loads of enemies, puzzles, secrets and loot await you. The game also has an interesting combat style. You move around on tiles like moving on a game board, and each of your four party members can attack individually, though they always move with each other and face the same direction. Positioning is really important, and things can get frantic when you have more than a couple of enemies in a tiny room with you. Lots of fun, definitely recommend it, especially if you like games that make you think, with lots of hidden stuff to find.

Pretty fun, over the top action. Game doesn't take itself seriously at all, which sometimes comes across as trying too hard but usually it's pretty humorous. Lots of exploding, running over hookers, and general chaos.

A great little indie game that hearkens back to metroid and castlevania. A good story and fast, fun gameplay makes it worth checking out. Some odd, illogical requirements for getting the best ending might make you consult a guide online, but otherwise a fantastic game.

This game will make you rage. It's an addictive, but incredibly hard platformer where instead of jumping you flip gravity at will. Lots of fun, but very hard.

A fun, but short, puzzle platformer. You switch between three different characters with their own abilities, the Knight, who is focused on close-quarters combat, the Thief, which can swing between platforms and shoot enemies with her bow, and the Wizard, who can conjure boxes and platforms to reach new areas. Lots of fun. Buy it if it goes on sale.

It's free, and it's a lot of fun. A class based shooter that's easy to pick up but hard to master, lots of game types, a good, balanced roster of classes, and HATS. Give it a try.

Sonic Generations simplifies things a bit, returning to the things that make Sonic games fun. No longer do you have a million characters that are annoying to play. You play as either Classic Sonic or Modern Sonic. Classic Sonic levels play like the old Genesis games, with a focus on platforming. Modern Sonic levels play like more recent iterations of the series, with a focus on speed. Branching paths, optional collectibles and unlockables, and a great variety of levels makes this one of the best Sonic games in years.

A weird combat-rhythm game hybrid thing, it's hard to describe but it's pretty fun.

A fun little game to play with. You run your father's item shop that serves the townspeople and various adventurers, and if you fail to pay off your father's debts, you lose the shop and end up on the street. Lots of ways to earn money, whether strategically buying items low and selling them high or recruiting adventurers to go dungeon diving for loot (these segments are playable, and aren't terribly deep but they're kind of fun).
