What else can I say that hasn't already been said? Brilliant story, gorgeous landscapes and a killer soundtrack. You actually care about the characters, and the amount of choice you have in game progression is amazing, and these choices actually have consequences, some straight away, some not seen until much later down the line. But all brilliant (if not somewhat depressing). Everyone starts out with the same Geralt in White Orchard, but by the end of the game (it's gonna take a long time to get there if you play the game properly), everyone's version of Geralt will be completely different, in both gameplay choices and character setup. You could help everyone or leave them to die. You could specialise in melee combat or magic. The choice is yours.

I'll admit, when I first heard about The Witcher 3, I wasn't too keen, but I am so glad I gave it a chance. It's fast approaching the top of my most played list, and for good reason. All in all I would highly recommend this masterpiece of a game, one that every gamer should experience.
