Doom meets Binding of Isaac!

Such a cute little "Numbers go up" game.

If they make a 2nd I feel like they could expand on it. Random events, Weird niche boss fights. Going full "Cookie clicker" on this game would be fantastic as a sequel.

A fantastic adventure. If you think A Link to the Past and Oblivion smashed together would be fun. You will love this.

Its a fantastic open world survival game. A bit rough around the edges right now and I and I think them adding more skills to the game will really round it out. But overall I am enjoying my time with this game and am super excited to see whats to come!

Game is fun. Running at about 30-40fps on medium with a 3070 and a i5-11400F (1440p)

If you want more Monster Hunter with new monsters, mechanics and potential end game grind, you'll want to play this!

A nice blend of ARPG meets Rouge-lite. Run through the game until you die, go home and upgrade your stuff.

The specializations seems like a HUGE boost of power, getting to lvl 10 can feel like a chore. But when you get to choose your specialization it feels like you unlocked new ways to play your class. (So far have done Warlock and Wizard and both feel awesome.

THE DRAMA:
This game is sadly being attack by the Chinese community for not having a Chinese translation. When the developer tweeted about other users leaving a negative review and saying "I will not change my review until a Chinese translation comes out" and talked about how counterproductive that is (Bad reviews = bad score, bad score = can't afford to update that game like adding more translations).

Even with all of that, the developer apologized. Then when a blogger from Billibilli translated the game to then leak it to pirating platforms (Rumors has it the main dev already put a build out onto pirating websites for those who couldn't afford the game) he asked his community to get a hold of him so that he could put the translation into the official game and pay him. Too sadly be met with even more death threats from the Chinese community.

This is a once spriter turned new indie dev. Doing his best to please everyone and is only being with with the cruelty that is the entitled Chinese community. I bought it only because of the unfair treatment he is getting. But I am a huge fan of 2D platforms so was very happy to see it was at least brought to my attention.

THE GAME:
The game is very much akin to Super Meat Boy in terms of quality and feel for a 2D platformer. You have times goals and "coin" goals and TONS of quick 30 sec - 1/2 min levels of dodging, dashing and jumping. For me personally I like to just run through the levels, then come back to them and achieve the goals and with this mine set. I am seeing dozens and dozens of hours of content here (Am able to see how levels there are in level select)

The art is PHENOMENAL and is so far my favorite part of the game. Every single thing has so much detail that I'll stop mid level to examine the pixel art.

The music I would say is middle of the road. Its not bad and its not a slam dunk OST like the original Super Meat Boy. But I will say is it is bouncy, fun and very robot-y!

The game is on a launch sale for $4.55 and given the amount of content here I would gladly spend $15-$20 for this game. The amount of love put into this game is astounding and I do hope this dev continues to work on new projects. He deserves more postiive attention towards his games and I hope he can get Steam to get rid of the review-bombing that is going on with the Chinese community.

10 hours in and this is by far the BEST ARPG in the market. I don't know how I'm going to go back to PoE1 after this.
