I consider the Bonzo the All-Gnawing Dr. Dapper Topper the absolute pinnacle of my career as a trader, as well as one of the most impressive long-term achievements in my life. It was a testament to my commitment, working up through trading continuously for 3 years straight to finally get what I consider the best Unusual in TF2 history.
Do I regret selling it off for profit? Yes, I do occasionally wonder if it was the best decision too, especially since a few years later Dapper Toppers and Unusuals in general absolutely sky-rocketed in price thanks to a certain Youtuber who couldn't resist manipulating the economy for profit.
Do I regret the hardships I endured being a part of the trading community? Absolutely not. Over the years of trading I met some of the chillest people ever who helped me by giving me advice on trading, setting up good deals, and just were all-around very supportive and helpful. On the opposite end I met some absolutely insufferable people who made it their goal to bring me down when I really didn't do anything wrong. There was a lot of hurtful things done to me, like spreading rumors, harassing me, and even starting witch-hunts over non-existent issues, but I still take these experiences as lessons that made me grow as a person and allowed me to grow a thicker skin.
