The best game I have played in a while. Very fun. Countless references and nods to films and games over the years from the fights to the level design. It's exceptionally fun and we have been laughing so much. Definitely worth the purchase if you have someone to play with.

Less of an idle game and more of a constant micromanagement game.

As much as everyone hates on Battlefield, this game isn't much better once you get past the shiny new honeymoon period. Weapons all feel roughly the same as each other within their own categories. Tanks and helicopters last barely a minute before taking a rocket from across the map, usually being shot out of the sky by someone with super human accuracy even when you are weaving and dodging. When playing CTF maps the entire teams just zerg from one place to the next with very few people bothering to defend unless opposing zergs collide. Frontline maps are nothing but stalemates until one side gets slightly ahead then it becomes a bum rush to the finish line of unstoppable zerg. Overall it's the same old formula with a few tweaks that don't change all that much. The only things really so different to any other similar game is the higher player servers and the graphics being basic so it can run on a potato. If you like battlefield you will likely enjoy this game for a while too but don't expect anything groundbreakingly different. Same old thing, different wrapper.

Reliving the PS1 days like good old times. A classic and iconic point and click adventure. Well worth buying the complete broken sword pack.

Yet another Zachtronics games that is fun, challenging, super nerdy, plenty of replayability to perfect each level. Also yet another Zachtronics game that I couldn't finish because I have a smooth brain that no good at logic. You can easily sit there for an hour on a single problem finally to have that AHA! moment when your brain finally gets its **** together giving you that rewarding dopamine release.

Cars go vroom. It feels like people are being far harder on this game than they should be. It isn't supposed to be a 100% realistic simulator racing game. What it IS, is fun, far more fun than Forza. You DO NOT need to play destruction derby to overtake, you just need to get good, and increase the race laps a little to give you more time. The feeling of achievement when you come out on top without hitting anything is palpable.

You can customise how realistic you want the game to be, from terrible arcade game with magic race lines (which I suspect a lot of the negative review have left it on), to solid attempt at a realistic driving sim where one wrong weight shift will end your race. The number of laps can be customised so if you like longer races you can do that, you can easily have races over an hour long if you choose to.

The graphics are gorgeous on a 4K monitor, the cars highly detailed inside and out. The weather effects mix things up and you really need to know your cars handling in all situations to come out on top.

No bugs, no crashes, very fun driving game. Totally flawless from my perspective. I have not had this much fun in a race game since playing Gran Turismo 2 on my PS1, and I've tried a lot of racing games. Just don't treat it like a competitor to iRacing.

Fun until you get to winter... Whatever happens once the first winter starts your entire game becomes bugged. Villagers refuse to eat, refuse to drink, refuse to do their jobs. Changing professions on kids becoming adults often bugs that villager so their skills are locked, stats are not assigned properly, or the most recent (and last) play-through a villager somehow became a god of cutting down trees from boiling water at a campfire (seriously wat?). I tried reporting these bugs over a year ago to the developer through email and even sent game saves so that they could see the bug themselves. The bugs still are not fixed so every winter on every play through the villagers start dying through their own idiocy, and the number of bugged villagers stack up, with me left in hopeless frustration unable to do anything to save them.

TLDR; Another reminder that I should never buy early access games ever again.

Perhaps one day this will be a good game. As of right now it is not worth the money, with a lot of the big content in a state of "coming soon tm". The ship building mechanics leave a lot to be desired. The tech tree is a grind, only unlockable by manufacturing vast quantities of parts that you won't get to use unless you love building starships a single panel at a time (good luck getting a tiny working ship in less than week due to snapping not working correctly if at all in many cases). There are so many areas that need improvement or fixing. Interesting concept but maybe come back in a few years.

Same as every other village building survival game. It brings nothing new or revolutionary to genre. It has all the same build walls, put on roof, make bed, plant crops, mine rock and ore, defend against attacks that every other game has. It even has the same slow down and crashing that every other similar game has in the end game where you have an entire castle and a dozen villagers. Expect the usual bugs and quirks or menus not doing as you ask of them, particularly setting up weapon/clothing options for your villagers. Nothing exciting as far as graphics go currently.

Pillager/Raider attacks are frustrating in the mid/end game as they bring siege weapons, which would be fine, if they didn't magically attack your underground structures or somehow destroy supports deep inside your buildings whilst leaving the outer walls of the building intact. So you end up with ruined mine tunnels, and a hole in the middle of your castle as the upper floors collapse due to having used weaker wood internally whilst the outer stone block (strongest in the game as of writing) walls of the building are untouched and providing zero protection.

The game is lacking a lot of fundamentals though this is likely due to it still being in development. As it stands as I type this review the game is not worth the money right now. Perhaps another 12 months will change things but the roadmap the developers have shown still only looks exactly like every other game of this genre. The game has potential given another couple of years full time developement. In the end it ultimately goes on the same pile as the rest, feeling more like an alpha rather than a beta/ea. Time will tell if the developers can stay dedicated to this games development and make it in to something extraordinary or let it fall by the wayside.

Honestly I tried to stick with this game but I just can't deal with it anymore. The devs made their money and instead of fixing the countless bugs, quirks, inconsistencies they decide to slap a 1.0 sticker on it and add rockets and paid weapons DLC to a damn game that was advertised and sold as a rescue game (of which there is little if you want to actually make money in the game to ... you know ... build rescue vehicles).

Want to connect some vehicles together with winches? Don't bother saving the game as the winches will reel back in when you reload.
Want to use the various radar options to ... you know detect vehicles 20 or even 50km away as it clearly states it can in the radar description? Jokes on you, because the game won't load anything beyond 2km regardless of what you set the view distance too, so your huge radar is pointless.
Want to make keep several vehicles in the world dotted around the world map? Good luck because sometimes vehicles and containers will just up and disappear for no reason at all. You think having the container connected to the lifting helicopter you are currently flying will save you from this? Hahaha, you just lost thousands of litres of fuel you were transporting because the container vanished like magic, it didn't fall off, it's just completely gone. Poof. Hours wasted, and huge amounts of money lost. You think that rescue beacon, the laser point beacon, the lights that you put on your fancy container are going to help you find something that literally doesn't exist in game anymore? Don't bother.
Want to do some missions to rescue people (literally the entire premise of the game)? Well good luck because the mission descriptions don't match the actual mission. Rescue 3 people and take them to the hospital? Well you pick up three people out of the water around a burning boat at the defined location and take them to hospital only to get notifications saying three people died... There were six people... Apparently. You failed the mission, congrats.
Do you want any kind of balance or consistency in your games? Well don't look here because the devs can't even unify the bezel size of the monitors, let alone balance the money, electricity usage, wind system, etc. Why rescue anyone? Just let them burn and carry on, there is a crate of money randomly floating in the ocean that gives you more money than the rescue mission will ever reward you with.
Want to make scripts that hold data and settings of the vehicle that can be customised whilst out in the world? Well don't go anywhere because those scripts are all going to reset and sometimes blue screen the second you go more than 2km away, even if it was working perfectly fine when you spawned the vehicle, as the draw call is going to run before the tick call even if the games FPS is terrible even on newer hardware.
Want to join several pontoons/modules/parts together to make an ocean base using all the different connectors and anchors you can use? Lets hope you enjoy coming back to find everything either clanging together or floating in pieces and on fire. Was there a storm in the past 10 minutes you went to fetch the next module? No, the game just hates you.
Want to build anything at all after a recent patch? Well now you get a message telling you your brand new creation that you started in the latest version is made on a unsupported version of the game. Were you using any mods at all? No? I guess the devs don't even recognise their own game anymore.

TL;DR Build some crap, watch it all burn, get annoyed with the bugs, eventually uninstall.

Edit: So I decided to try this game again after seeing how many updates it has had since I made this review. Now the game crashes regularly too! 👍
