I personally enjoy Don't Starve Together very much!
It is updated fairly quickly and most if not all content is pretty amazing! Alongside the massive modding community it's fairly easy to help change up Don't Starve Together to fit your style as well, if the base game doesn't completely match it.

The game can feel kind of easier at times or extremely hard at times compared to the original game, this mostly stems from having little to no other players in your server. So you do really need your friends in this game, or you need to join public servers. Thankfully DST gives you two copies when you buy the game, so this can help you out!

A few issues arise and disappoint me, but I can see why some were necessary. As of writing this the Scrapbook seems a bit lackluster but they're doing their best to make it feel better and more part of the game. Another part is some of the game's Insight trees, it feels as if some of them are too strong or some of them are too weak, but they're a really good addition to the game, just missing some tweaks or balancing.

However this does pales in comparison to the creative genius of Don't Starve Together's survival and multiplayer design. Extending from the original game, Don't Starve Together is an extension of its original mechanics and ideas into a multiplayer format, while still keeping most of its difficulty it adds variety and depth to most boring mechanics to make them much more interesting in multiplayer, farming being the best example.

If you have an interest in survival games, I highly suggest getting Don't Starve Together. It'll take a bit of getting used to it's uncompromising nature, but it's still a really fun time.
