Unplayably buggy on Linux, devs are unhelpful.

It's a serious shame, the game is good. Gameplay is fun, progression is interesting and the story is good...

But the game constantly disconnects on Linux.

I'm talking every 30 - 60 minutes you get a disconnect. I found alt-tabbing out and back in usually brings it back to life after a few tries, otherwise you get a crash to menu.

The problem is in the mid to late game, the game turns into getting better and better gear. Which is fine, other than you have to start gathering resources that bring you against worms, which will destroy ALL of your gear if you die to them.

Twice in a row I lost all of my unique gear to a worm because my game disconnected at a bad time.

I, of course, reported this to the devs who, after 5 days, responded with "sorry we can't give uniques back".

I really like this game, I absolutely would have continued playing but mid to late game is unplayable on Linux. You're forced into high stakes situations that turn bad due to game bugs and the devs will not help you.

Don't take my word for it, look up "dune awakening linux p34". It's a long standing issue.
