I bought this game to play with my husband. I LOVE the Powerwash game series, truly, but the multiplayer is hit-and-miss.

Since we are local, the connectivity is fine. However, who is the one joining cannot pick up ANY gnomes or you have to leave and restart as it gets LOCKED into their hands and cannot be put down.

On top of this picking up the ladders or scaffolding will cause the joining player to start floating off into the sky. Which is kind of funny, but also very obnoxious. Not to mention trying to climb the ladders is a PAIN for the joining player, they will frequently just drop you off of them or cause you to start shifting to the side of the ladder which again just drops you off it.

Lastly when cleaning any of the furniture it'll finish for the host 2x faster than it does for the joining player, so it will still SEEM dirty even if it's complete. That one is minor compared to the annoyance of the ladders and gnomes, though.

I still do recommend the game, but I think if you're playing for MULTIPLAYER specifically then these are things to keep in mind.

ETA: We beat the game and finished all the achievements! The host works GREAT, but the lag and vibration and other issues for the joining player REALLY needs work. I can still recommend it as we could complete the game entirely together, but hopefully the devs fix the multiplayer issues!

Absolutely phenomenal story telling and artwork. I love so much about this game that I always recommend it to other people for them to experience. The co-op is good as well, but there's just nothing like playing through the story and building up your boat and enjoying the ride.

cove is the best boi, amazing feels good vn you won't regret playing. i recommend playing through once and then getting all the DLC and playing through again... and again and again and again like i have :))

Good variation of ghosts/activities. Extremely fun provoking hunts/getting chased/trying to get all the objectives and joking around with friends.

A very good and relaxing game to let sit while you sleep or play other games and then come back to for maybe thirty minutes to three hours decorating and replanting stuff, then rinse and repeat. Cons: not great for co-op.
