A Short Hike is charming, beautiful, and relaxing. Explore a lovely island with all sorts of friendly critters and little stories that are discovered as you speak with everyone. The platforming is fun, easy, and intuitive. Truly a ray of sunshine in this gloomy day and age,

A panacea in these dark times.

What can I say? The music. The art. The writing. The story. The agonizing choices you sometimes have to make. What a great game. The gameplay was fun, and a bit difficult (I played on normal). I feel like if you were a really tactical person you would thoroughly enjoy playing at a higher difficulty. Can't wait to play the 2nd and 3rd installments.

At first I thought "this is good, but it's very similar to the original." Then things started going awry and I was like, "ooh, where are they going with this?" By the end, I was in tears just like at the end of To the Moon. Damn, do they know how to make a good story. Highly recommend.

My wife played a ton of Spyro when she was a kid. When I heard that they were creating an HD remaster, I knew I had to get it for her. It's awesome to see her face light up when she plays it, you can tell it definitely brings back good memories. Also, it's clear that the developers cared very deeply about making this game.

These side-quests are sweet!
