I’m Sorry

I don’t know if this means anything now, but I need to say it, I’m sorry. To everyone I’ve hurt, disappointed, or let down, I truly regret it. If I was ever selfish, cruel, or just not the person I should have been, I wish I could take it all back. I know that apologies don’t change the past, but it’s all I have left to give.

I’ve spent so much time thinking about everything I did wrong, about the mistakes I can’t undo. It’s exhausting, carrying the weight of knowing I wasn’t good enough, that I might have been a burden instead of someone worth keeping around. And maybe that’s just who I am someone better left behind.

But still, to those who were with me at some point, even for a little while.. thank you. Thank you for your time, for your patience, for the moments when you made me feel like I mattered. Even if things didn’t last, even if I wasn’t always easy to be around, I won’t forget that you were there.

I don’t expect forgiveness. I don’t expect anything. I just wanted to say this, in case it still matters to someone.

Maybe now, the weight will finally be gone.
