This is one of the best horror games ever made. the whole rogue like aspect where there are different scares each run is incredible and I've never seen it done in a horror game, especially in such an effective way. It isn't all just jumpscares either, you'll frequently see things in the corner of a room that are there one second then gone the next. The atmosphere and sounds are great too. It gives a real sense of dread and you're always on edge the whole time never knowing what's going to happen next, EVERY, SINGLE, RUN.

Can't wait to see what you make in the future. This was amazing

Its a mixed bag, but overall I enjoyed it.

The game is mostly you walking through a forest with your dog and uncovering clues about the story. The atmosphere is really great and the breaking of branches and other noises can really freak you out. If you've played layers of fear 1, or 2 (the devs other games), you'll know what to expect for most the game. The story was good but confusing, which was the point.

The only complaint I have is the multiple endings and how you achieve them. There are only 2 real endings. It's very Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light like where you have to avoid collectibles and play like a pacifist to get the good ending. It was kind of disheartening to think I was making all of the good choices throughout the game and doing the rights things so that I'd get the good ending only to find out that I didn't, and that I hadn't since the beginning of the game.

The game is short. I beat it in less than 5 hours and there isn't any replayability. If you like the Blair Witch and you like horror games you'll like this. Otherwise, don't bother.

A completionists nightmare, in a good way.
