To spare others from having to search endlessly for a fix, here's a quick and simple solution for when the game doesn't launch at all: Right click the game on Steam > Properties > Launch Options > COPY PASTE THIS INSIDE: cmd /c "set OPENSSL_ia32cap=:~0x20000000 && %command%" > done Now the game should start.
