Woohoo! After 3 days I was able to get the Normandy! Very easy to get by hitting the R points and then doing to beacons.

I started playing this in Early Access and loved it from the start. You really get that feel of being alone and the unknown areas can be daunting to explore until you become familiar with the map. To say the graphics are beautiful is putting it mildly. I love the fact that you can do the exploration ‘missions’ or completely ignore them and you won’t miss out on much other than story. The way they introduce story elements through found datapads and your database entries really encourages you to explore every nook and cranny of the world. You can also experience the game as fast or as slow as you want. Power through the story or take it as slow as you want. Sometimes I’ll power through the storyline and then before finishing my rocket I’ll then take my time to explore the world and look for all the hidden caches and story elements.
If you’re the type of person who loves exploring, doesn’t care for constant combat (combat is almost non-existent), and looks for creative base building this is the game for you.

Pros:
- Atmospheric and gorgeous Environments
- Sounds and Music are amazing
- Good beginning tutorial to introduce you to the game that doesn’t feel out of place
- Crafting system that is easy to understand and handle
- Base Building is super customizable
- Sandbox/Creative mode to build to your hearts content, makes game replayable
- Hardcore mode available for those who want a super challenge
- Non-lethal methods are encouraged, combat is discouraged

Cons:

- Can be system heavy, especially with video settings on high
- Can feel claustrophobic and the “deep” areas can be terrifying if you have phobias
- Finding new resources could be frustrating until you’ve learned where things are found
- Lack of combat options could be a turnoff, but you can get creative with what tools are available

Overall I highly recommend this game to anyone.
