Game was originally marketed as a hardcore tactical shooter and was good in season 0 and season 1 (including the post recoil update and t7 nerf). Now it is genuinely a completely different game with so many mechanics either straight up removed, changed, or dumbed down, and new "features" no one is asking for that are copied directly from any game that is currently popular to try and get more people to buy their gacha mechanic $120 skins (this is the majority of updates). Zero balance updates to make running any gun viable. Same meta for multiple seasons in a row (2 viable guns). Completely caters to 4 man teams with a very large amount of mechanics that specifically help teams. Builds the game around streamer opinions. A handful of AI slop content and gooner skins. List goes on. There used to be a good game in here somewhere, but it's just constantly straying further from something I find personally enjoyable literally every update.
