Taking a look at the new areas around E5, we have a new port and a high security prison complex, both featuring new missions. Additionally, Epic Missions now feature a heavily armored boss. This boss is much tougher than your average AI, carrying high tier weapons and new heavy armor that can only be found on him. Encountering the boss in cramped interior spaces like those found in the prison could lead to a very deadly situation.
Also included in this version are two new improvised weapons, the Crossbow and Mosin Launcher. First up is the Crossbow, an affordable weapon that can be thrown together with a few weapon parts, a couple planks, one machine oil and a blowtorch. Its ammo is even easier to make, just a couple planks and some nails. The Crossbow delivers deadly blows silently, making it an extremely useful tool for those who prefer to stay stealthy. But the projectile is slow and not the most accurate, limiting its range
This update also brings the Mosin Launcher, a weapon created by welding some attachments to a normal Mosin-K. This allows it to fire improvised explosive grenades, another new and very deadly craftable item. Compared to the GRM-40, the projectiles of this improvised launcher fly slower and have less range. Plus the sights aren’t as clean. Even still a grenade launcher can still be an extremely effective weapon, improvised or not.
Version 1.10 adds a new drink to the game, Tea! Specifically Prison Tea, an extremely strong tea with a massive dose of caffeine. It allows you to run and reload 20% faster for 15 minutes, at the cost of -25 food. You can even craft this yourself if you find a few boxes of tea lying around.
Lastly we have the new decorative items that can be found at the new Prison POI. These include a bunch of new posters, plus table top games like Chess, Backgammon and Cards! Also found at the prison and other areas is a new rare gold watch that can be sold for extra reputation.
Of course that isn’t everything included in 1.10, there are lots of cool little changes and bug fixes included in the full patch notes below:
