Essentially this game is Metal Slug run-n-gunning with the weapon crafting of Monster Hunter, and it works really well. The retro sprite-based art style is very charming and the soundtrack is very catchy. The online multiplayer is a bit hard to get into without other friends playing but bear in mind it's still getting the kinks ironed out. But nevertheless this is a great game to dive into and there is more content on the way~
