This game is astounding. It has very little actual gameplay, and is instead intended to be enjoyed calmly and slowly, sips at a time. There is so much loving attention to detail, in the visuals and the audio, and it's all stylistically so consistent, that it's a pleasure to just watch, nevermind play.

If you enjoyed Journey, you will enjoy this game as well. It is a sort of spiritual successor. (It changes some of the core values of Journey, so do not expect exactly the same style of experience. Some may find it improved.)

The attention to detail in this game, for a first-year VR game, is astounding. It completely pulls you into the feeling of being an astronaut on a heavily-damanged space station. You have to as much energy as possible, while you gingerly navigate around debree and rooms.

That said, there are some cons. The controls actually take time to "train," because they seem based on propulsion jets in your suit. In that way, the controls become part of the game itself.

Also, you're pretty much alone in an open-world-styled exploration. I think the atmosphere (no pun intended) is super cool and engrosing, but I can see how others, who want a little more flash-bang in their game, might bounce off this one.

As long as you have three friends who are all happy to play real-time twitchy games, you need to pick this one up. I've played this with seven other people now, and every one of them was happy to spend an entire evening trying to conquer every difficulty level.

The epic feel of each level, the unique adversaries that require specific strategies, and the intense teamwork required that obviously comes with plenty of shouting, all adds up to a really great time.

If you play with your volume muted, you will wonder what all the fuss is about. It's a platformer with cooperative puzzles. Been there, done that, right?

Sure, but you haven't played a platformer with such emotion in its story. I honestly would buy this over LIMBO. This game is all about the story. The levels are designed for the story. I can't really say anything, because that'd ruin it, so I'll just give you these notes: the storyteller is possibly the best voice I've ever heard in a video game since Bastion; the story has a precise and smooth learning curve; the game's pacing is almost perfect, perhaps a tad slow; the platforming is never challenging enough to frustrate.

First off, this game is not for everyone. You have to enjoy "feel." If a few games like Proteus, Thomas Was Alone, Journey, etc., grab your attention for their environment and flowing feel, or if you just like driving down roads for fun, then you'll know what I'm talking about.

The traffic is such a huge part of this game. It makes the world feels alive. I've even witnessed an AI get into an accident, and cause a traffic jam. While most drivers appear sane, I've had drivers cut in front of me, break very suddenly, or do other crazy moves, that force me to put on the breaks or swerve out of the way.

The other huge part is the environment. When you travel, you feel like you're going places. The world around the road is covered with plenty of landmarks that create memorable feels for each part of every road, so that when you happen to circle a few jobs later, say, you get feelings like, "I've been here before."

Now, the amount of detail *is* a bit noticeable. While I've yet to spot any billboarded textures (thank goodness), I've seen more than a few underwhelming models that take the experience down a notch. That said, given the scale of the game, sometimes I wonder how they even managed the detail that is there.

Overall, an excellent game worth picking up for those that like to unwind. :) The internet radio feature is just the cherry on top.

A platformer that gives the traditional death mechanic new meaning. It, and the story, dark and horrific. You'll want to play this one with headphones on, because the game wants to pull you in with its sound as much as anything else. You'll quickly learn the sounds of upcoming danger, even though you'll never understand what it is until it's almost too late.

The beginning of the game feels crafted and finished, but the end definitely feels more thrown together, as if the designers ran out of ways to tell the story. Yet, it's only a small issue in an otherwise excellent performance.

The game has such incredible flow to it. There's nothing like it. It asks you to think on the fly, and improvise with the environment! The serene feel of gliding over and under everything is a lot like hitting that turn just right in Wipeout, or remembering the right moves to maintain momentum in a Sonic level. The punishment of failure is you'll be forced to experience a plummet into the pavement.

You're not playing this game because it's got fantastic controls. You're playing it because it's got a very enjoyable point-and-click story. Once the first third of the game or so builds the story up, and you get over the top (like the first five chapters of any book) you'll be sucked in.
