Started off strong.

Quickly fell apart from the opening bell. From a Dev perspective this feels like a vertical slice of a game that was implemented last minute to save a studio from internal collapse. Salvage is seen everywhere, AI gen artwork, placeholder frames, clearly an unfinished combat system. Liquid Swords (Dope name btw) , I commend the effort and this was one of the titles I was looking forward to HEAVY this year but this ain't it.

9 minutes and it's just going to need a LOT more time in the oven at this stage. Felt like a solid pre-alpha overall. The framework IS there, the gameplay is not sadly. Fights are lifeless. Going with soft physics/ragdoll was a choice.. IN A GAME WHERE MOST OF WHAT YOU DO IS FIGHT! Fauna though lovely to look at is almost entirely static except when driving. Driving is one thing this game nails. Cars feel heavy and just overall good to pilot. Not enough to keep me playing. YMMV

If you came from the MUD you will love this game. If you think Dark Souls is a hard experience that hurts you emotionally, run far away. People who say this game is terrible would not have lasted in the era of Elderscrolls games. Let alone in the days of Nes no save states. The reason Kliff is "bland" is he is you, protagonist going through the journey not an oversold superhero made out of charisma and shareholder dollars. The controls.. gtaV/rdr2 are considered masterpieces yet they control roughly the same if not a bit worse. They tried to do ALOT with pad, actions usually only given to KB+mouse games.

I'm 4 hours in, the quests start off as streamlines and quickly deviate into having to find alternate solutions which I imagine pissed off reviewers wanting a golden path. You will find no such thing here. This is a game that will take time and research to truly enjoy. I will update as I continue onward.

I must update. I spent hours not even in combat just exploring and gaining skills. A point when I thought a prescripted event was occuring and a passenger fell off my horse when I went down a waterfall (shortcut lol) was the moment.. I expected the quest to break. Instead he fell into the water and then got back on the horse and we continued. 11/10 game of the decade for me.

TLDR_this is not a standard 20-40-80hr romp. This is a game with easily 1000s of hours of content at the pace of playing on the weekends. The BORING story is just very nuanced and in depth to a degree I have not seen in gaming in.. decades. Honestly. Fully voice acted incredibly well and animated. Animations I didn't even know could exist, you will see them if you stay long enough..

You want to truly enjoy this experience, try walking not running everywhere. Can't remember the last time I felt that way about a game, that it's not just a A to B to C hustle to the end.

that said- YOU abosolutely PA need to offer the option to yield or withdraw from combat with guards. That is my one major issue.

Shame KT dogged this game from the get and forgot to support it in any meaningful way for yeaaaaaars until T8 crashed off a cliff in it's own Hubris.

Absolutely yes. Gravity Rush II may never have the chance it deserved on PC.. only other game that evoked such a good feel. Give Hi Fi Rush a Chance..DMC meets ??? - game is just gushing with flavor and style. Controls are smooth. 10/10

Finally decided to give this a shot after bouncing off the latest Suda51 Romeo. Patches may have made a difference, combat is butter. No air combos, just tactical grounded mixed combat. Very Wick inspired in a way, bespoke level design with a shocking amount of destructible objects? This game was slept on heavily.. very unfortunate. I recommend. Spine is what people are waiting for, yet this exists and people are sadly unaware. Heavily reminds me of old arcade style shooters, like Die Hard arcade.. my advice would be to adjust the audio to make the voices and music lower and the Sfx louder. Otherwise the 2-3 things said over and over during combat can become grating.

5hr later

it all starts to make sense. The garden area is meant to be laborious.. take the chainsaw and die swiftly.. clever game. EXPLORE the combat system and you will be rewarded. 2026 has been stale thus far, happy I checked this one out ... 3 years late.

I hardly review games anymore. Gori Cuddly Carnage however has earned from me a review. This thing runs flawless from ps5 to Switch to Steamdeck. Not a crash, not a bug. This is not a AAA title for sure, it's superior. This game is a joy to play, some mad mashup of JSRF/Conkers bad fur day/Lynx time sweeper/Dynasty warriors with some of the strongest visuals I have seen period? 11/10. Just try the demo and say you don't want more. Game should be hitting millions and if it doesn't then the word needs to get out #Gori aka the Stray sequel we deserved. The combat once you unlock your full set flows like water as well. The soundtrack, is MEMORABLE. I cannot put enough accolades on this gem of media. Well DONE. This makes AAA games look Mid honestly.

PLEASE REMASTER

Game is an absolute masterpiece. Always had trouble getting into the Hitman games, this is a breath of fresh air. Highly cinematic yet open ended, truly ahead of its time in many ways from the lighting to the crowd density/AI behavior routines. How I wish they kept going this direction. I only now in 2025 discovered the black sheep of the series. A blend of Max payne 3, splinter cell conviction elements with its own twist makes this the perfect Hitman. For me anyway. Some love the sandbox endlessness of the World of Hitman trilogy... I prefer the nuance of a tight woven storyline.

I've had my Steam 17 years and hardly found need to review anything. MH-Wild stands out special because I see alot of complaining and it's like people either never experienced MH on PS2/psp when it didn't even have the right analog for camera (it was for weapon swings)

Enjoying this game immensely at a crisp frame rate on 4090 paired with 64gb ddr4 feeding to a Meta Quest 3 for a beautiful image. Anyone who is saying "ps4/ps3" graphics truly is a lost soul as the visual fidelity coupled with wide open spaces is breathtaking to behold.

Quality of life improvements are so numerous its ridiculous, being able to heal/change main weapon/repair..etc all safe while mounted is a gamechanger in itself. Then all the QOL additions from Worlds for foraging/crafting/travel and what you have is a very fine tuned experience

Vets saying its 2ez, the campaign is basically a tutorial in my eyes..wait a few months and say how easy it is. I think making it accessible to newcomers more than ever was brilliant on Capcoms behalf. No reason to play World anymore- I feel bad for people stuck with only a switch/Rise.. this MH is now King. If I have one complaint its that RT doesn't seem to be properly implemented as do several other settings on the PC port which is where alot of the negative reviews are coming from.. so I expect a few patches will resolve that.
