Because it's causing High CPU usage and performance issues even on a high-end PC that can achieve 400+ fps when Vsync is turned off. I mainly tested the BPM Rush mode and Main Story levels and i get frequent and very noticeable performance issues on both my main PC when locked to 144 or 120 with or without vsync.
