The product placement and licensed music makes Getting Up feel like a time capsule for the early 2000s. As in, "That graffiti is cool, let's take a pic of it with my Nokia N-Gage". As for the game itself, the story is competent and the gameplay is straightforward enough to be interesting. The PC port is a bit wonky at times, but it's playable enough.

Early Access Review
Factorio is a rare example of Early Access working correctly. The devs constantly release optimizations and updates, and tell the community what they're doing.

The game itself is a top-down Minecraft Technic Pack, but more polished. The goal is to make factories to churn out tools and materials you need, and to make science packs to research more tools and materials. To that end, there is a circuit network that lets you enable or disable components based on conditions, a logistics network that lets you make robots to automate building and repairing, and a rail network to transport cargo between distant bases. Factorio is extremely deep, and there's always a newer and better way of doing something

The only problems with Factorio are the slow start and the lack of unique enemies. You start by manually crafting smelters and drills, and you spend a few minutes doing everything yourself before you can automate your base. As for the enemies, there are ones that bite and ones that spit acid, and that's it.

Factorio never goes on sale. The devs insist that the price stays the same. If you're the sort to wait for a sale, you'll be waiting a very long time. Just buy it, it's worth every penny and more.

Early Access Review
It's Minecraft in Space, but with more of a focus on survival.
It's Early Access at the moment but there's some jerkiness when moving.
It's got loads of potential though as a space war simulator

The game is a bit flawed, but mods fix that
Too bad the mod community has been torn apart by greed. Get ready to pay extra to fix the game you paid for

Very good FPS with nobody playing it. Worth playing, but don't expect many people online unless you bring friends

The game is great, and gives you a lot of ways to play. It's story is pretty good too, and the levels are really detailed and fun to explore. The game isn't for everyone though, because it's tutorials are awful and it's translation is endearing at best and confusing at worst.

It's a fun game, but you NEED a good computer to enjoy it. Had some issues at launch with being unoptimised, but the situation's a lot better now

The game has balance issues, an obsession with cosmetics and the community will drive you up the wall. It's still good though, and since it's free it's not like you're losing anything by trying it.

The game is very clunky, and it's graphics are very dated. Don't let that fool you, though, because the game is still fun regardless. It's a sandbox game where you go around doing mundane tasks while trying to survive in a crazy town. You're given all the tools needed to cleanse the area of anything that moves, but the interesting thing about the game is that you don't have to kill anyone. As the developers say, it's only as violent as you are.

It's a retro-themed platformer with competent physics. As far as gameplay is concerned it's everything you'd expect from a platformer. One thing it does add though is a stomp, which lets you land faster and do damage to enemies.

Where the game really shines is it's artstyle and music. The soundtrack is great, and is worth the money. The only issue with it is that it doesn't include all the tracks in the game, such as the first stage of the final boss fight. The graphics look good, and the backgrounds are colourful.

Overall I'm recommending it because it's a fun game. It's not very long but what's there is good. Just don't play it if you're epileptic, there's a level early on that will mess you up with it's black and white colour scheme
