Though, that being said, if ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pirates weren't a thing - the kind of pirates who say "LAMO why would I pay for anything", even if the game developers are well talented and are deserving of the money - then we wouldn't have to deal with stuff like Denuvo. And maybe we would use better than military standard encryption for what matters most. Protecting our privacy, and not to earn an extra buck because you're having to deal with greedy human nature.
Its the fact that the people who hate EGS and Denuvo - or anything that's controversial in the gaming world - will instantly harass and target you for who you are if you don't agree with what you said.
The 10% that actually has legit criticism on why something is bad and they hate it, live somewhere else like Discord, don't hate it that much and would support the good things about it, and/or condemn the hate speech but can't say it on a public forums for the fear of being called a "traitor" by the 90%.
90% of the rest are trolls who like to watch the world burn.
So trolls, when you target people and harass them because they don't agree with you, do you not see that by doing this, you actually also harm the 10% of your image that drives you, and instead just gives more incentive to companies to not do what the 10% actually wants? Of course you don't, you're trolls. And you stink the place up.
