The good old game again... sort of. If you can ignore the outrageous skin prices. Well, maybe that was always a problem.

Fun, little arcade game that takes you back to those dumb, low-quality educational games on your school's MAC computers. Instant nostalgia, but genuinely fun.

Like Getting Over It (lite) with a wonderful industrial-horror, grunge aesthetic and a friendly biomass ever rising to give you a nice, warm hug. If heights give you sweaty palms (like me), you'll love-hate this game. Rise and shine, Mr. Climber. The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference.

An excellent city-creation sandbox. It's a bit limited in its early state, but there's a lot of potential (especially with the workshop). It's gorgeous (despite graphical limitations), easy to learn and pick up, and very intuitive. I'm currently using it to design a cyberpunk city for some tabletop RPGing. This is an easy recommend at full price.

Mods will soon become available and the dev seems to be interested in supporting them. This just makes me recommend the game more.

Fun, easily-moddable city-builder. I mostly use it sandbox mode to create whatever I want. Would recommend at a decent discount. DLC are predictably lackluster, but that's Paradox for you. If you're a Stellaris player, you'll know exactly what I mean.

A solid RPG with some mild glitches. Not the AAA experience of BG3, but, if you like Owlcat's work, this is definitely a good one. Combat feels more powerful and impactful than Pathfinder and psychic powers are done perfectly (powerful yet chaotic). The roleplaying itself is nothing groundbreaking, but I found it enjoyable and compelling. Lastly, and probably most importantly: The atmosphere and lore is done perfectly. It may be the best part of the game, in my opinion, as Owlcat manages to blend the grimdark elements with the unique people, places, and things that make 40k what it is. It's the story, characters, and lore alone that have been the biggest drives for me to continue playing.

My biggest criticism would actually have to be the romance options. There aren't many, especially if you want to play a straight female character, and Owlcat has committed the cardinal sin of not making the NPCs player-sexual. As a result, I've found that part of the game mostly disappointing (especially after having played BG3).

TL;DR: Fun combat, great lore/atmosphere, strong story, good roleplaying, lackluster romance options. 7/10, would recommend for about $40-$50.

A fantastic remake that is faithful to the original in nearly every way, including art style. Well worth your money.

Very interesting setting with a beautiful aesthetic. I honestly don't care for souls-borne games singleplayer, but with the seamless coop mod this game was quite a bit of fun.
