Asterix & Obelix XXL 2 is a remastered game and shows the adventures of two Gauls - Asterix, Obelix and their dog - Dogmatix. If you haven't played the game, at least you've heard about their comics or movies and their eternal enmity with the Romans. They face the entire Roman army alone, but with the secret that they use a special magic potion, at least one of them, because Obelix has fallen into the kettle when he was small and no longer needs to drink. But let's get back to this adventure: The druid Getafix betrayed his own people and disappeared. Exactly the druid who helps them all the time and who gives them the magic potion... Asterix and Obelix are sent to Rome on a mission by their chief Vitalstatistix to find the secret.

You will encounter many interesting puzzles. Beat 'em up is extremely good, smash many Romans who are represented as different characters from games such as Sonic The Hedgehog, Super Mario, Pac - Man, Rayman and etc... You can play with both characters - Asterix and Obelix, as well as control the dog - Dogmatix. Each of the characters plays a role for the different puzzles. The game was played with a controller - Xbox 360 and the controls were very handy, so i recommend to play with a controller. Also an interesting part of the game was collectibles (cards, figurines, abilities and etc...).
