Blender is the Swiss army knife of 3D design and modeling, video creation and editing, and so much more. Blender is the killer app of the creative professional and novice alike. You can learn how to make interesting stuff in an afternoon or study this software for years and still learn new things.

I am in love with this game right now.

Fallout 4 is the only Fallout game that works on my system at this time that I know of and it is a lot of fun. I am still close to the beginning and so far the experience has been like that of discovering a new book. I am excited to see where this game will take me and am so happy to find a game that I can physically play.

The V.A.T.S. game mechanic really makes it possible for me to play this type of game without someone else to get through some of the levels for me. I suspect there will still be missions and tasks I cannot do without help but I think V.A.T.S., which slows time making it more possible for me to attack, is brilliant in that it still keeps that part of gameplay interesting and challenging and its use is completely optional for those that don't like it.

My current machine is from 2013 and it can run this game at a decent FPS in middle-quality graphics settings. On the penultimate setting it lags noticably. I didn't play long enough on its highest, or 'ultra,' setting much longer than it took to figure out that playing on those settings (they are individually mutable) was going to be equally pretty and unworkable.

I'm so glad Fallout 4 plays well with my 'Kensington Expert Mouse' trackball. Unfortunately the mouse cursors in Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas stay frozen at the center of the game's window, though I can freely move the OS mouse cursor outside of the window. Fallout 1 and 2 won't load up at all and I don't have Fallout 76 yet.

I look forward to cozying up to this game for the cold, depressing holiday season, and finding out WTF happened to my wife and kid.

I love Euro Truck Simulator 2 and its America-themed counterpart. I have played this game for several days' worth of time. It is, like the reviewers say, both boring and engrossing.

I recommend learning about the geography as well as cities and landmarks to maximize the educational potential of this game. ETS2 already has uncanny replayability without the DLC or the website, World of Trucks, that, like Steam, keeps track of acheivements but also driving stats like cumulative distance driven and tonnage carried.

While I don't have the geography expansions yet, I have probably played this game for at least 100 hours so far. I am excited about gaining the achievements on the website the game shares with its sister product American Truck Simulator. All this and I haven't mentioned the gorgeous screenshots others and I have taken that you really ought to have a look at and enjoy even if you never do play this game.

I recommend, if you can, purchasing at least the DLC additions to the game world which include Scandinavia, Italy, France, and Eastern Europe (I was not paid to say this, I would tell you). The makers of ETS2 also offer, relatively inexpensively, DLC for customization of your truck, including country-specific paint jobs.

I really like the possibilities for mental training as this game rewards those who learn to remain alert and appropriately proactive and reactive punctuating long stretches of monotony. Learning how to remain aware and alert through what most would characterise as boredom could be helpful in practicing mindfulness. And while we're talking about learning, go ahead and learn how to drive with the stick shift. I wish that I had set the game up this way from the beginning as how all that worked was a complete mystery to me but is now second nature. Manual operation of the transmission offers so much more control than automatic.

One major disappointment for those, like myself, looking for hardcore realism is that Europe is much smaller in-game, and many liberties are taken in the name of making the game playable for absolutely everyone, including a psychosis-inducing shortened day/night cycle.

I will be hoping for an iteration of this game with a virtual world that is a lot more accurate and detailed in the future. In the meantime I play on logging many, many more hours on this game, Euro Truck Simulator 2, and its sister game, American Truck Simulator.

This 'game' is an example of a pretty trivial application on par with a student final project for a semester of newbie programming. There is nothing here that couldn't be done in a more interesting way, and there is no intellectual rigor as far as sources cited for factual statements nor is the topic covered in adequate depth. In addition, the content is poorly proofread. If anything, this is an early alpha release of an educational game that is in so many ways not ready for prime time. I hope the author invests time in improving so he can pick something more relevant as he obviously has skills and knowledge.

I bought this game all the way back in '99 after I read about it in Wired or something. I was so happy to have the crazy idea to search for this on Steam and then find it. I bet the kids today think this game is dumb and outdated the way I thought Atari games were when I was a kid, but for me this game is enough to get my imagination to work. This game did not work when I originally bought it on Steam but now it does, so I recommend buying it knowing they'll probably fix it soon enough if it doesn't work for you already.

In the interest of full transparency I got this game for half off, however, had I paid full price I'd like to think UEBS was still worth the price.

Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator is a fine game/simulator. Haters are mostly being unimaginative little babies. I thought of something like this years ago while reading the Iliad and thought it'd be really cool to recreate historical battles, so I had to take a look at this.

I'm not so sure this program would come into play as a useful scientific exploration of the endless variables that went into determining key battles of the American Civil War or World War II. I think with further development with increasing the dynamicism of the automatons' behavior in mind could be fruitful.

In closing I'd like to reiterate this game does deserve a chance. Don't expect a $60 game for $16 and I think you'll find this game an occasional fun diversion. I also hope to see Brilliant Games Studio continue to refine all aspects of this app.

Not very interesting subject matter; confusing UI; poorly proofread copy; buggy. An obvious and very poorly executed bid to get your cash. You are constantly pestered to buy this and that. When I played in the multiplayer arena no one was present to play with me and if there is a single-player mode outside of the tutorial I couldn't find it. I do not recommend this game in spite of their supposd nomination for some award involving Indie games made with Unity.

Early Access Review
BeamNG.drive is a must-have for any enthusiast of simulations in general. BeamNG.drive is to cars what Flight Sim World or X-Plane is to airplanes. It's like Grand Theft Auto but focused solely on the driving experience. BeamNG.drive is also constantly being updated, expanded and improved. This sim has grown tremendously in just the year that I've owned it. You would be a fool to not add this to your collection of games and software that tries to accurately model physics.
